Report Multi sector Meeting HUB 20 September 2010

What and how can Hubs contribute to (post) conflict regions such as Rwanda and Palestine?

After several requests from entrepreneurs in (post) conflict areas to start a Hub in their hometown, a small team of Hub founders, members and supporters got together to look into the meta project of supporting Hubs in fragile and/or divided areas. After some initial research and investigation the team decided to focus on two regions in order to pilot how Hubs could work well in such areas. Kigali and Ramallah were chosen as the two locations for this pilot.

On Monday September 20th 2010 a meeting at the Hub Amsterdam was organised which aimed to find knowledge, network and co-creation opportunities. This report is the harvesting of the meeting.

The HUB is about the power of innovation through collaboration. The Hub believes  there is no shortage of good ideas to solve the issues of our time. But there is an acute lack of collaboration and support structures to help make them happen. The HUB was founded to address this need.
