Peace Security and Development Network: Yearplan 2010

For the project period 2008-2012 the overall goal of the PSD Network as a whole is to contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals in fragile states. It will do so by creating a forum that develops and propagates knowledge and policy advice, through the development of an integrated approach, critical research and instruments that safeguard the needed conflict-sensitive approach, through the cooperation of different thematic approaches and by working towards an inclusive overview of issues that need attention.

The role of the overarching Network in the accomplishment of this goal is:
- to facilitate reciprocal learning between different partners – within and beyond the PSDN - on a
wide variety of themes related to fragile states.
- to provide a bridge function between the research agenda, the policy agenda and public opinion
around the topic of fragile states.
