This IS Academy was a research consortium including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wageningen University and five major Dutch NGOs: Oxfam Novib, Red Cross, ZOA, Cordaid and ICCO. We seek to better understand processes of socio-economic recovery and the roles of formal and informal institutions in conditions of state fragility.
