We are not there yet: Women in conflict prevention & peacebuilding

The Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) and the Knowledge Platform will organize a discussion entitled “We are not there yet: Women in conflict prevention & peacebuilding.” This expert meeting will focus on how to more efficiently support women’s participation and contribution to peacebuilding and conflict prevention between policy makers and CSO representatives in the Netherlands and GPPAC members working in the conflict affected countries.

Speakers will include, Thania Paffenholz, Director of Inclusive Peace and Transition initiative and one of the authors of the Making Women Count - Not Just Counting Women Report, our gender experts in conflict affected countries and a representative from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (tbc).
