Political corruption is the preferred tool for illicit networks to advance their businesses. The nexus between organized crime and politics is a growing global concern that effects new as well as established democracies.

This launch event of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) and the Clingendael Institute will feature presentations by one of the lead authors of the reports, Diana Goff, who is a Research Fellow at Clingendael, and the series editor, Catalina Uribe Burcher, who is a Programme Officer with International IDEA.

There will be time reserved for Q&A with the audience.

The full programme can be assessed here.
