Director of Peacebuilding – Global
Salary: £59,120–£68,623 per annum (higher end of the range for an exceptional candidate), plus excellent benefits
Based: London, UK, but other locations can be considered
We are seeking an exceptional, charismatic candidate to drive the impact of our peacebuilding around the world and to promote our position as a specialist peacebuilding organisation.
Reporting to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager with a passion for innovation, combined with peacebuilding knowledge and experience, to lead all our peacebuilding programmes, fundraising, and design, monitoring, evaluation and learning in over 15 countries globally. You will be key to our new priority focus on influencing.
You will be joining the organisation at an exciting time, as we start to implement our ambitious new strategy. As a senior management team member, you will be expected to help shape how we deliver the strategy, including possible changes to the way we work and how we structure our teams and reporting lines.
As we develop our influencing (as well as strands on partnerships and dialogue), we are looking for someone who can help us connect the different levels of our work, from the grassroots to the corridors of power, feeding into wider peacebuilding initiatives and formal peace processes.
You will be a great strategic thinker and leader, with a high degree of emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial flair, and strong analytical capacity. You will have experience of implementing peacebuilding worldwide, of managing programmes, people and partnerships, and of raising funds.
