Country Manager - Mali

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who has a talent for strategic programme development and delivery in the peacebuilding sector, to lead our work in Mali.
This will involve managing the country programme, supervising the work of partners and ensuring quality control of our peacebuilding outcomes, as well as financial oversight.
You will supervise current initiatives, while planning and securing programming that supports medium- to long-term peacebuilding outcomes. As part of your job, you will be required to regularly develop and update a clear country strategy, which will also make reference to the wider west Africa/Sahel region.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong process and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to gain and maintain the trust and respect of national state actors, local civil society organisations as well as international agencies operating in the country.
With a masters/postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, you will have substantial experience in peacebuilding. You will also have significant experience in people and programme management, supervision and delivery of research, and institutional engagement.
