Biography
I am a Senior Advocate-General at the Public Prosecution Service since 2008, specialized in anti-corruption and complex legal matters. From 2004 until 2008 I worked as a public prosecutor, and prior to that for seven years as a criminal lawyer. I finished my Phd in 2003. In 2014 she has been named Professor by special appointment of Public Prosecution at the University of Amsterdam’s (UvA) Faculty of Law, focusing on the position of the Public Prosecution Service within the constitutional state, public governance in its organisational context, ethical dilemmas and integrity, and subversive organized crime undermining the rule of law.
