The Innovating Justice Awards are designed to stimulate innovations in the justice sector.Through the awards programme, Rule of Law professionals can identify the most promising developments in the field. Innovators are motivated to improve and to apply their innovations across borders. Nominees and applicants for the Innovating Justice Awards will be able to share their setbacks, successes and best practices. The Innovating Justice Awards programme consists of three different categories:

Award for Human Rights Innovations 

The Human Rights Innovation Award aims to raise awareness of the importance of human rights in the Netherlands and abroad. We are looking for enterprise initiatives or novel ideas that can produce concrete results in this area.

Are you aware of a unique innovation or innovator in the field of human rights? Are you yourself working on an innovative project? Do you have a new and original way of defending or promoting human rights?

Award for Innovative Ideas

The Innovating Justice Award for Innovative Ideas aims to raise awareness of the importance of innovative ideas in the justice sector worldwide. Ideas that still need to be developed and implemented. We are looking for enterprise initiatives or novel ideas that can produce concrete results in all areas of law. This year, we have a special focus on court related innovations. Our next Trend Report will be dedicated to innovation processes in courts. Learn more

Award for Successful Innovations

The Innovating Justice Award for Successful Innovations is aimed at innovations that have proven to be successful and that already make a difference. These innovations contain valuable insight for everybody involved in innovating justice.
