After 18 months of intensive, complex and insightful work, our research project on ‘Supporting Primary Justice in Insecure Contexts: South Sudan and Afghanistan’ is nearing completion. We are organising an expert meeting to discuss the findings and to gather input on recommendations for future programming. We would very much like to invite you to attend and give input.

During our meeting we will first offer insights on our findings by three rounds of interviews and Q&A, led by Professor Jan Michiel Otto, with the researchers, and practitioners and policymakers. In the afternoon session you can sign up for one of three working groups that will discuss a particular theme: women’s rights, land rights or access to justice. We are especially interested in discussing the ‘elements that work’ and ideas for development programming. The day will be closed with a plenary discussion in which each working group will feed back their findings to the plenary.

We would be delighted if you could attend on 27 June. Please do confirm by June 13, so that we can make appropriate arrangements. We will share more details on the program in the coming weeks.
