Networking reception - Training Negotiation and Mediation as an Instrument for Conflict Resolution

Networking reception with the view to connect relevant Netherlands based organizations with participants of a two-week training course at the Clingendael Academy in The Hague.

This training is part of the Clingendael Conflict Negotiation Facility, an initiative of the Netherlands Institute of International Relations “Clingendael” supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The training in negotiation and mediation techniques is aimed at 20 experienced women mediators from various African countries. The outcomes of this training need to be used in different professionals settings. Examples are scenarios wherein mediation is needed in local conflicts, complex international conflicts, between two parties or a multitude of parties, in different phases of the peace process.
