Informal meeting on the Sahel with EUSR Michel Reveyrand de Menthon

The Conflict Research Unit (CRU) of the Clingendael Institute will host an informal meeting with the EU Special Representative (EUSR) for the Sahel, Michel Reveyrand de Menthon. You are cordially invited to attend this meeting, which aims to bring together a diverse group of representatives from civil society, the policy realm and knowledge institutes.  

The meeting will start at 3 pm with a general introduction by the International Center for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT) on the origins of the crisis in Mali, the international military responses  and the perspectives for stabilization.

The EUSR will then share his thoughts on the latest developments in the North-South negotiations and the EU actions and programs in Mali and the Sahel, after which participants are invited to take part in an open discussion.

Please note that some of the presentations will be held in French.
